Ohio is full of beautiful wedding venues for all budgets and tastes. But, it can be hard to sort through all of the options when you’re searching for a specific vibe. You might think that Ohio is full of corn and rustic venues, but there’s so much more out there! If you’re looking for something out of the ordinary, take a look at this list of Ohio wedding venues that will give a luxurious, classic, timeless feel to your wedding day and elevate your photos.

Northwest Ohio Venues

Nazareth Hall: This venue in Grand Rapids, Ohio is a reformed boarding school with three ballrooms to accommodate your vision. Gideon Owen Winery: This Port Clinton venue has great wine and great views! Get married outside on the lawn or inside the wine cellar and use the vineyard for photos. At 150 years old, this winery combines historical features with modern elegance.

Crimson Lane: Located in Ada, Ohio, this venue provides a clean slate to perfectly design your wedding day vision. The inside space is all white with modern touches such as high ceilings and exposed beams. Step outside and enjoy the trees, gardens, and lake in this rural and peaceful but elegant Ohio wedding venue.

Central Ohio

Landoll’s Mohican Castle: Yes, you read that right– Ohio has a CASTLE you can get married in within Mohican State Park! It’s European inspired architecture mixed with the lush greens of the forest are a perfect combination for that princess wedding you’ve always dreamed of.

The Seventy Five: This 75 acre venue overlooks Hocking Hills has the perfect setting all year round. The reception space has huge windows for all that natural light, elegant getting ready suites, and so many unique photo locations including two waterfalls, a pond, and a wildflower field!

The Athletic Club of Columbus: Located in downtown Columbus, The Athletic Club was founded in 1912 and has been home to many prestigious members over the last century. Their wedding spaces reflect this history with elegant, intricate design work covering the building. It gives an almost Gatsby feeling in some rooms with chandeliers and a grand staircase.

Jorgensen Farms: Jorgensen has two separate beautifully unique venues onsite, Oak Grove and The Gardens. Oak Grove gives both an indoor and outdoor experience with a natural light filled greenhouse and also enclosed spaces for receptions. It overlooks a pond for perfect photo opportunities! The Gardens, formerly known as Historic Barn, also has large windows for ample lighting and overlooks the meadow with half an acre of flower beds that can also be used for photos.

Eastern Ohio Wedding Venues

Glass at Enchanted Acres: Enchanted Acres has three venues to choose from, but I would be lying if I said Glass wasn’t my favorite. It screams luxury with their black and white interior decorated with chandeliers and large windows. Outside, have your ceremony at the marble backdrop and enjoy the picturesque trees surrounding the property. They also have two suites for getting ready that are just as elegant!

The Wellspring: Nestled in Wooster, Ohio is The Wellspring. This stunning modern space has loads of natural light in the interiors which is specifically designed light and bright to give you a perfect blank canvas. The outdoor area between the chapel and reception building gives great contrast with evergreens, a lake, and nature trails.

Tudor House at Mason’s Cove: Booking this lakeside venue in New Franklin, Ohio gives you access to their 10 acre property, the historic Tudor mansion, and 650 feet of lake views for your wedding day. My favorite design aspect has to be the clear-roofed reception patio which adds a beautiful elegance to your reception but is also still functional. Visit their website to see more!
