Joy and Tyler’s Bloom and Bower wedding was all smiles all day. I’ve never met anyone with a more fitting name! I had such a hard time narrowing down their photos because they truly looked so genuinely excited and in love in every photo. Bloom and Bower is the perfect Ohio wedding venue for your fairytale garden dreams!
Wedding at Bloom and Bower: Getting Ready Space
Tyler and his groomsmen got ready at his and Joy’s house in Toledo and met us at the venue in Risingsun (about 40 minutes from Toledo). Joy and her girls got ready in the bridal suite onsite. There is a separate upstairs for another party to use if you want too! The guys and girls then took turns getting their group photos taken in a secluded green space just a few steps from the getting ready areas. This spot is also super shady and great for hot sunny days! They chose not to see each other before the ceremony, so this allowed us to get some photos done beforehand.
Wedding Ceremony at Bloom and Bower
Their ceremony was so sweet and personal. Tyler and Joy’s son Eli was escorted down the aisle by his grandpa with a special job. He was carrying the rings as the ring security! They each read their own vows and had each other giggling the whole time. Joy was so excited to get down the aisle, she completely forgot her bouquet! Don’t worry, we got some pictures with it later. There was a chance for rain, so Bloom and Bower set up tents to make sure no one got wet. Luckily it didn’t rain, but there is also a covered gazebo for the couple to stand under.
They came to party!
After formal and wedding party photos, we took some pictures of just the newlyweds before the reception started. These two came to PARTY and their families did too! People were dancing before dinner even started and were all having the time of their lives. The dance floor was packed all night long. Luckily we were able to take the row boat out onto the pond on the property before things got too crazy! That felt like such a princess moment you definitely don’t get at every venue.
I could not be happier with how these photos turned out! Joy and Tyler were such a breeze to work with and showed me so much kindness.
