Libbie and Dan tied the knot at one of Northwest Ohio’s newest wedding venues: Heban’s Field of Dreams! You won’t need to leave this venue all day as they’ll give you everything you need for a wonderful experience. This family owned and operated wedding venue in Grand Rapids, OH has a stunning bridal suite and other areas for a complete wedding day service. Scroll to the bottom for all the photos!
Heban’s Field of Dreams: Getting Ready Spaces
When you walk into this bridal suite, your jaw will drop! Not only is it spacious enough for even the biggest bridal parties, but it’s absolutely beautiful. It’s almost all white with blackout curtains and two large rooms. There’s a beam that is a perfect spot to hang your dress from for photos! There is also a separate building that can act as a holding space for another party. While not as large, it keeps both parties separated until it’s time to see each other. Libbie and her girls utilized the bridal suite while Dan and his guys used the holding space.
Ceremony and Portrait Areas
The ceremony space faces a large grassy hill and is a short walk from both getting ready spaces. The guys all came in together and the girls came down the aisle one by one. Libbie and Dan chose not to see each other until the ceremony, so Dan turned around when she started her walk down the aisle. It was such a sweet moment! They shared communion together and were all smiles the whole ceremony.
The hill makes a great photo spot as well, especially for sunset! There are several green spaces around the venue for wedding party portraits and couple portraits. If you’re lucky, the on-site cows might come say hi!
Reception
The reception space can hold up to 225 guests and is situated inside a brick structure with a wooded interior. It’s not quite a barn, but has a bit of a barn feel. Libbie and Dan chose to have a pizza truck as their dinner which was SO delicious! Their family and friends absolutely packed the dance floor. It was such an honor to be part of their day! Mackenzie and the wedding team at Heban’s Field of dreams were so welcoming and made the day run so smoothly. I highly recommend looking here if you’re in need of a venue!
