Tamaron Country Club – Toledo, Ohio Wedding

May 12, 2022

Your wedding will surely involve some stress. But what Meghan and Sean endured in the days leading up to their wedding at Tamaron Country Club is something no one is ever prepared for.

Only a few days before their wedding, Sean experienced some very serious health problems (to protect their privacy I won’t go into detail). Luckily Sean pulled through, but his fight was far from over. But what I experienced on their wedding day was incredible. They wanted to go through with EVERYTHING. The whole day. I was like, WHAT??? If that were me, I don’t know that I would have been able to do it. But these two are no ordinary folks, and their strength and faith is something we can all learn from.

Their wedding at Tamaron Country Club

We started the day at the Miracle Salon and Spa in Temperance, Michigan with the ladies. They filled up the whole place getting hair and makeup done, singing along to Disney tunes, and drinking mimosas. From there, we went to Little Flower Catholic Church in Toledo, Ohio to get dressed and ready to get married! Meghan had a beautiful charm on her bouquet honoring her late father, and the rest of the ladies had lanterns as bouquets, something I had never seen before but really loved.

After the ceremony, we went to the Toledo Botanical Garden for bridal party photos and headed to Tamaron Country Club for the reception (who by the way has incredible food, seriously, every time I have a wedding there I get really excited for dinner). Sean’s dad gave a powerful toast to the newlyweds, and at the end the whole reception held up their arms and revealed their #SeanStrong bracelets which Sean didn’t know about! The bracelets were passed out as guests entered the reception. I would be lying if I said I didn’t tear up a little. After that, Meghan and Sean cut their cake, had their first dances, and got a little dancing in.

Sean the Rockstar

Guys, Sean did not complain ONCE. He was an absolute rockstar the whole day. He started his day around 12pm getting ready with the guys and he was still going strong when I left the reception at 8pm. I don’t think I saw him so much as flinch even though I knew he had to be in pain. Words cannot express how much love and respect I have for Sean, Meghan, and their families and how much I admire them. I will truly never forget this day or these people. My #SeanStrong bracelet is still on my nightstand.

Check out some of my favorite moments from their day below!

In loving memory of Jerry Barron (1959-2022) and Sean Barron (1990-2022)
