If you’d rather avoid the green park vibe for your engagement photos, Downtown Toledo offers so many different spots for stunning photos! These spots can be used for engagements, weddings, families, seniors, you name it. Check out some of my favorite places for Downtown Toledo Engagement photos below:
Promenade Park
Located on Summit Street near Imagination Station, Promenade Park is probably most identifiable by the big blue ring sculptures you can’t miss. It’s also right along the Maumee River and has just enough grass without being too much like one of the metroparks. In the winter, you can also catch a beautiful Christmas tree and light display.

Levis Square Park
Just a short walk from Promenade Park across Summit is Levis Square Park. There’s some small patches of grass, a few tall buildings, and some great artwork. Cross Madison on the red brick for some cool walking or lift shots!

Downtown Toledo Engagement Photos: Madison Avenue
Next, keep walking down Madison with Promenade Park and Levis Square Park behind you. You’ll reach one of my favorite buildings downtown at 420 Madison Ave. Stop right around the corner for some coffee at Plate One, or take some more photos across the street behind the Huntington Center. There is also great parking on Superior St nearby that will allow you to be able to walk to all three locations listed so far.

Commodore Perry Parking Garage
This parking garage is located on the corner of N Huron and Monroe right across from Pizza Papalis. There is street parking along Huron on both sides of Monroe for you to use. If you want to go to the top of the garage for a great view of the city, there is an elevator in between the garage and apartment building attached.

Alleyways
There are several alleyways all around downtown that give a cool industrial look. One that I like is near the bar Cock N Bull. You can access it by going around the back of the bar. Keep exploring though, you might find one even better!

Warehouse District
This spot is on N St. Clair St. Stop for coffee at Maddie and Bella or a beer at Earnest Brew Works!

Downtown Toledo Engagement Photos: Glass City Metropark
The newest Toledo Metropark has a gorgeous view of Toledo’s skyline! Located off Front St, there is plenty of green space, tall grass, and a walkway right on the water. You can also go ice skating in the winter and book the Pavilion for private events.

Middlegrounds Metropark
Another Toledo Metropark downtown, Middlegrounds is located off Ottawa St. It has a close up (and probably the best) view of the famous blue Anthony Wayne high-level bridge. Like Glass City, it’s also on the river and has some green space.
